I shot this at Relay for Life during one of the kid activities. This one happened to be during the tug-a-war event. I got some really cool expressions when they hit the water, but their emotions were not as good as this one.

Emotion

This is our new kitty Harry. We just adopted him 2 days ago, and so far he seems to be a little camera shy. However, I did catch him in mid-meow the other night, and considering that this is the most animated and vocal cat I think I've ever owned, I figured his portrait would fit the "emotion" category nicely. :)

I attempted a quick product shot of this Mountain Dew can. I was going for a darker green, which would have blended the can better with the background. However, the nikon gels don't get that green, so it looks like I need to buy some stronger gels in the future.

Since it was 4th of July, I decided to post a fireworks picture. It's not my best picture of the fireworks, since there is no ambient or foreground (needed 15 second exposure to see it) to add to the frame. I did pass a few other opportunities on other assignments to shot 1/8, but I didn't realize it until after the fact.
