Very nice colors and feel to this. I like it a lot. I'd like to see some other frames where the fish was not touching the pole and other little things to see if this is the best frame.
in response to teresa, i did not have a frame with the fish not touching the frame. he only had the fish up for about 3 seconds (he said he has been fishing almost every day for the past 40 years, and has gotten good at catching and releasing fish very quickly.) as i said to clay over the phone, maybe i am getting soft. the lake was stopping me from going farther (i was leaning out onto the rocks as far as i could) but days past i would have gladly hopped into the lake. also, i would like the sky to be about 1-2 stops darker, at least in the light part, but i have never felt comfortable darkening an image that much in photoshop.
but, enough excuses. to everyone who shot, fantastic images, and i would like to say thank you to all those who have joined in.

The more I look at this image, the more I like it. Nice light. The one thing that bothers me a bit is the rest of his arm coming from nowhere.
